Qualifications
- 8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- US citizenship due to the client base.
- Experience in customer-facing consulting, technical solutions pre-sales, or pre-sales roles.
- Background in web acceleration, web security, infrastructure security technologies or cloud computing.
Responsibilities
- Create sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers.
- Manage the technical proposal process and ensure all information and recommendations meet customer requirements.
- Track account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet customer needs.
- Lead sales activities such as technical demos and proofs of concepts (POCs).
