Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with engineering and business teams, becoming the technical expert our customers rely on to design innovative solutions across the Akamai platform.

You will create sales opportunities by guiding pre-sales activities, manage technical proposals, and lead demos and proofs of concepts for government and regulated industries, helping organizations accelerate, secure, and optimize the digital experience for millions of users.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or technical solutions
• US citizenship required due to client base
• Experience in customer-facing consulting or pre-sales roles
• Background in web acceleration, web security, infrastructure security technologies or cloud computing

Responsabilités

• Create sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers
• Manage the technical proposal process ensuring accuracy of information and recommendations
• Track account activity for business analysis and design technical solutions meeting customer requirements
• Lead sales activities such as Technical Demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
