Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure company, is seeking an Interconnection Sales Specialist (ICS) to grow interconnection revenue across public sector accounts. You will design architecture-led interconnections, collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and engineers, and drive multi-cloud and AI‑driven workloads to scale outcomes for government and education customers.

• 5+ years selling network, cloud, data center, cybersecurity, or AI infrastructure solutions to enterprise, government, education, or public sector clients.
• Architecture depth in WAN, routing, peering, cloud connectivity and network virtualization.
• Ability to design a solution with customer architects and document it as a blueprint.
• Credibility with both technical buyers and business decision makers.
• Proven track record of collaborating with account teams and partners to meet sales goals.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, CS or related field.
• Experience navigating complex government and public sector stakeholder environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture-led design conversations with customer network and cloud architects.
• Map requirements to proven interconnection architectures and produce blueprints for delivery.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on presales feasibility and solution design.
• Register architecture scope early and drive from commitment to published blueprint.
• Build business cases and metrics showing value of the architecture to executives.
• Engage with federal, state, local government and education stakeholders to align with modernization, cybersecurity, cloud and AI initiatives.
• Develop architectures supporting resiliency, data sovereignty, zero-trust, disaster recovery and secure cloud access.
