Job summary

Equinix is seeking an Interconnection Sales Specialist (ICS) to drive architecture-led engagements across NSP accounts. You will design how networks, clouds, AI workloads connect, landing repeatable blueprints on Platform Equinix to grow interconnection revenue.

As the field expert, you will collaborate with Solution Architects, Account Executives, and partners to create differentiated, scalable architectures and drive growth across the portfolio. This role is based in Redwood City, CA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling network, cloud, data center, interconnection, or related solutions to NSPs, carriers, ISPs, or enterprises.
• Architecture depth in WAN, peering, cloud connectivity, and network virtualization.
• Ability to design customer architectures with architects and write blueprints for delivery.
• Executive presence with technical buyers and business decision makers.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture-led selling conversations with customer network and cloud teams to understand drivers and requirements.
• Map needs to proven interconnection architectures and design a repeatable blueprint.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on presales feasibility and produce blueprints.
• Register architecture scope early and drive from commitment to production circuit and blueprint.
• Build value cases showing business impact to executives and technical buyers.
• Engage with carriers, network architects, peering leaders, and product teams to align strategies.
• Design architectures to improve reach, cloud access, traffic, and customer experience.
