Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to sell Identity Security solutions to State, Local and Higher Education organizations. You will lead a virtual team of partners, presales, and services to drive wins and customer success, build territory and account plans, and ensure accurate Salesforce forecasting.

You will engage executives, tailor solutions to unique customer needs, and collaborate with marketing and channel teams on go-to-market plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in IT, business or sales.
• Proven track record selling complex Identity Security or cybersecurity solutions.
• Experience building and executing territory and account plans.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.
• Ability to lead virtual cross-functional teams including partners and services.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to closing.
• Develop territory plans and identify top 20 accounts.
• Collaborate with marketing and channel teams on go-to-market plans.
• Lead demonstrations and respond to RFPs.
• Maintain Salesforce hygiene and accurate forecasting.
