Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to sell Identity Security Solutions to State, Local and Higher Education organizations. This role requires strong discovery, strategy, and team leadership to win deals and deliver customer success.

You will lead virtual teams, position SailPoint against competitors, and own the end-to-end sales cycle in a highly collaborative environment within the United States. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and travels extensively.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in first engagements and discovery calls.
• Ability to articulate SailPoint value against competitors (Microsoft, Okta, Saviynt).
• Experience leading virtual teams of partner resources and cross-functional sales teams.
• Ability to create territory or opportunity plans and drive from discovery to next steps.

Responsibilities

• Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
• Develop business plans aligned to your territory.
• Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages.
• Own and oversee all aspects of the sales cycle from qualification to closing.
• Collaborate with marketing and partners to drive plans and pipeline.
• Maintain Salesforce hygiene and accurate forecasting.
