Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Field Account Representative for Public Sector Customers. In this in-person territory role in San Diego-North County, you will manage an established customer portfolio and drive MRO sales, with day travel and occasional overnights.

A laptop, cell phone, and travel stipends are included. Requirements include 3+ years B2B field sales, knowledge of facilities products, and proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B field sales experience in a Territory.
• Experience with multiple product lines and facilities products.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Proven consultative selling skills and solution selling approach.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
• Manages sales volume with existing customers while prospecting new accounts.
• Develops and implements plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
• Shares market insights and competitor information across the organization.
• Collaborates with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs.
• Attends monthly business meetings, regional/national activities, and trade shows.
