Job summary

HD Supply in California seeks a Field Account Representative for Public Sector Customers. This in-person, territory-based role manages an established customer portfolio to grow MRO sales while pursuing new business. Expect daytime travel, with occasional overnight trips; office tools and expenses are provided.

The position emphasizes consultative selling, CRM proficiency, and meeting sales targets, in a dynamic public sector setting. A valid MVR may be required and a vehicle is involved.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B field sales in a territory.
• Experience with a large product-line SKU set.
• Strong organizational skills and tech-savvy.
• Knowledge of facilities products (hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, HVAC).
• Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Experience with consultative/solution selling.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals in a remote/field setting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong sales relationships with key decision makers.
• Manages sales volume with existing customers while prospecting new ones.
• Expands business presence in the assigned area with strategic plans.
• Shares market insights and collaborates with channels across the org.
