Job summary

HD Supply in Fresno, CA is seeking a Field Account Representative for our Public Sector division to manage a portfolio of MRO customers, prospect for new business, and drive sales growth.

The role requires regular day travel with infrequent overnight trips. You will operate with a company car, and a laptop/tablet and cell phone are provided, along with monthly expense support. A competitive base salary plus monthly incentives is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B field sales experience.
• Large volume of product lines experience.
• Organizational skills and tech-savvy.
• Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial and HVAC product lines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce, or similar CRM.
• Experience with consultative selling/solution selling.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers to meet yearly sales goals.
• Operate in Fresno, CA territory with day travel and occasional overnight travel.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of the customer organizations.
• Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs to shape sales strategies.
• Attend monthly business meetings and local trade shows as required.
