Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Field Account Representative for its Public Sector division. The role manages a defined customer portfolio, drives MRO sales, and seeks new business with consistent day travel and occasional overnight travel.

A laptop/tablet, cell phone, and monthly expenses are provided. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of B2B field sales experience, knowledge of facilities products, and proficiency in Excel and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B field sales experience.
• Knowledge of facilities products (hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial and HVAC).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts and expanding current relationships.
• Retain existing accounts and increase opportunities with core and emerging markets.
• Operate with a Personal Vehicle for field work (>20% of week).
• Collaborate with leadership to shape sales strategies and initiatives.
• Attend monthly association meetings and regional/national events as needed.
• Share market insights and competitor information with teams.
• Assist in training junior staff and provide guidance as needed.
