Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Field Account Representative for our Public Sector division to maintain and grow a defined MRO customer portfolio across North Austin to Temple, TX. The role requires consistent day travel and a strong emphasis on consultative selling within facilities products.

The position offers a competitive base salary with a monthly sales incentive; a laptop/tablet, cell phone, and monthly expenses are provided. BS/BA required with 2–5 years related experience; travel <10% overnight as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of B2B field sales experience required.
Experience with a large portfolio of product lines.
Strong organizational skills and tech-savvy mindset.
Knowledge of facilities products (hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, HVAC).
Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
Experience with consultative/solution selling.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

Drive MRO sales growth for an established public sector portfolio.
Prospect for new business while expanding opportunities with current customers.
Develop plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
Share market insights and competitive information with relevant channels.
Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Attend monthly meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization regionally.
Operate a Personal Vehicle; MVR check required; travel as needed.
