Job summary

Verkada is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business in Washington's public sector. You will own the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, targeting states, cities, counties, education agencies and special districts within your territory.

You will report to the Regional Sales Director, Northwest - SLED, and collaborate with channel partners to expand Verkada's footprint through strategic negotiations and account plans.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of quota-carrying software/hardware sales experience.
• 2+ years selling technical solutions to Public Sector (Local Government, Education) is a plus.
• Hunter sales mentality with a proven track record of landing major accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan for WA state public sector accounts.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing with focus on net-new logos.
• Meet or exceed quota and drive revenue growth across districts, cities, and education accounts.
• Coordinate with channel partners to drive deal registrations and partner-led opportunities.
• Travel frequently (more than 50%) to cover local/state accounts and events.
