Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for Public Sector to lead the Sales Performance Management (SPM) suite across Federal, State & Local Government and Higher Education. Build scalable sales strategies and drive multi-stakeholder deals.

You will partner with Core Account Executives and solution engineers, run discovery with agency leaders, and map SPM capabilities to mission goals, budgets, and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years quota-carrying enterprise software sales experience.
• Experience selling to Federal, State & Local Government, and/or Higher Education customers.
• Working knowledge of public sector procurement, budgeting, and compliance.
• Ability to turn technical capabilities, such as territory design, route optimization, mapping, and mobile field execution, into clear operational value.
• Comfort running complex sales cycles with many stakeholders.
• Experience co-selling with core account teams and partners.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed a quota for SPM products across your assigned Public Sector territory.
• Partner closely with Core Account Executives, Solution Engineers, industry teams, and the systems integrator and partner ecosystem to find, qualify, and close opportunities.
• Lead discovery and executive conversations with agency leaders, program directors, technology executives, and university leadership. Connect SPM capabilities to their mission goals.
• Run a repeatable create-and-close motion. Use pilots and proofs of value to land initial deployments and grow them into enterprise-wide rollouts.
• Work through public sector buying processes, including fiscal-year budget cycles, contract and cooperative purchasing vehicles, and security and compliance requirements.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline and an accurate forecast.
• Advise customers on the SPM suite and champion solutions that help them reach their goals.
• Blaze new trails within customer organizations.
