Cohesity, Inc. is seeking a SLED/Public Sector Account Executive to develop and expand a defined territory.

This is an active, hands-on sales role focused on prospecting, building pipeline, and closing opportunities, while supporting existing accounts. You’ll operate in a fast-moving enterprise tech space—data security and AI-powered resilience—and gain exposure to complex customer needs and mission-critical solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Experience selling into Information Security teams with understanding of compliance standards and risk requirements.
• Proven success in SLED/Public Sector accounts and government procurement processes.
• Familiarity with public sector security frameworks (FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CJIS, NIST).
• Customer-focused with strong interest in cybersecurity and data protection, especially ransomware and recovery.
• Experience selling enterprise technology solutions (infrastructure, SaaS, or adjacent markets).
• Proven track record of net-new acquisitions and growing existing accounts.

Aufgaben

• Execute territory plan for net-new logo acquisition and account growth in SLED/Public Sector.
• Build and advance a qualified sales pipeline with direct and partner-sourced opportunities.
• Engage with state, local, and education entities and senior decision-makers.
• Lead discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment with guidance from experts.
• Develop value-based proposals linking Cohesity to security, resilience, and compliance needs.
• Navigate RFP/RFI cycles and purchasing frameworks in public procurement.
• Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances to expand market reach.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and provide quarterly performance insights.
