Job summary

Cohesity, Inc. is seeking a SLED/Public Healthcare Account Executive in the United States (Oregon area) to develop and grow a defined territory focused on public sector customers and complex data security needs.

You will manage pipeline and close opportunities while partnering with channel allies to expand market reach. You will engage state, local, and education entities, lead discovery and proposals, and align Cohesity platforms to security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to Information Security / Cybersecurity teams.
• Experience in SLED/Public Sector accounts with government procurement knowledge.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CJIS, NIST frameworks.
• Strong communication and ability to engage senior decision-makers.
• Experience with enterprise technology solutions (infrastructure, SaaS).

Responsibilities

• Execute territory plan focused on net-new logo acquisition and account growth in defined SLED/Public Sector accounts.
• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline with channel partners.
• Engage with state, local, and education entities; identify stakeholders and engage senior decision-makers.
• Lead customer engagements through discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment.
• Develop and deliver value-based proposals connecting Cohesity to security, resilience, and compliance needs.
• Navigate public sector procurement cycles, including RFPs/RFIs and contract vehicles.
• Collaborate with channel partners and alliances to support deal execution and expand reach.
