Job summary

Motive is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for the Public Sector to lead and close large opportunities with State, Local, and Education customers. You’ll articulate the value of Motive’s platform and drive outcomes with executive sponsors.

In this role, you’ll build strategic account plans, navigate complex procurement processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to win multi-year contracts across the U.S. public sector.

Qualifications

• Deep Enterprise sales experience selling to public sector organizations.
• Proven track record of exceeding quotas with data-backed results.
• Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and grow new business relationships within lighthouse Public Sector accounts
• Identify, partner and develop account plans for Public Sector prospects to deliver best value
• Leverage executive relationships to secure RFP wins and grow contract-based business
• Demonstrate experience with complex Proofs of Concept or Trials
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Software Engineering to feedback on product/security gaps
• Coordinate with account team and utilize analytics to optimize buying decisions
• Resolve issues by identifying root causes and implementing best solutions
• Showcase integrations and partner ecosystem value to prospects
• Plan effectively to meet and exceed revenue quotas
• Deepen understanding of Motive technology and trends to guide strategic iterations
