Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Director of Delivery Solution Architects for Public Sector to lead a high-impact post-sales technical organization serving federal civilian, defense, intelligence, state and local government, education, and related agencies.

You will guide architecture decisions, delivery planning, and scalable operating models across data, analytics, AI, and agentic applications, building durable customer value and predictable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer-facing delivery leadership in technical roles.
• 5+ years leading managers and multi-level technical teams.
• Experience building post-sales, delivery, or professional-services orgs.
• Deep expertise in cloud data and AI technologies and governance.
• Proven ability to drive production-grade data products and AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a diverse DSA organization including managers and ICs.
• Define and operationalize post-sales execution strategy for Public Sector.
• Partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Services to align plans and investments.
• Standardize guidance through use-case discovery to production go-live and adoption.
• Build executive relationships and drive measurable outcomes across agencies.
