Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) for the Public Sector (SLED) to lead post-sale technical strategy and drive customer success. You will work with sales, field engineering, and professional services to accelerate adoption of the Databricks Platform among State, Local, and Education customers.

This hybrid role blends technical leadership with commercial accountability, involving executive stakeholder engagement and ownership of production readiness across multiple use

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• 7+ years accountable for technical project delivery within Data/AI.
• Programming in Python, SQL or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales/technical role.
• Understanding of distributed data systems architecture.
• Technical program/project management with stakeholder accountability.
• Experience resolving escalations with senior executives.
• Experience conducting discovery workshops and technical roadmaps.
• Track record of overachievement against quota or targets.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Solutions Architects to understand the use case demand plan for prioritized customers.
• Lead the post-technical win account strategy and execution for major use cases.
• Serve as the accountable technical leader across multiple teams for assigned use cases.
• Be the first contact for technical issues related to production/go-live status of use cases.
• Coordinate with Shared Services, Onboarding, Technical Services, and PS for task delivery.
• Develop a point of view to accelerate key use cases into production with PS engagement proposals.
• Navigate Product and Engineering for new product innovations and previews.
• Create an execution plan covering all activities of customer-facing technical roles and teams.
