Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Delivery Solution Architect Manager to lead a public sector DSA team in the D.C. metro area. You will shape post-sales technical strategy, hire and coach a team, and work across Sales, pre-sales, and professional services to drive production use cases.

You will mentor team members, maintain current tech knowledge, and assure alignment with internal partners while achieving growth and certification goals.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for access to classified information.
• 7+ years in customer-facing roles.
• Delivery experience in SaaS technologies—Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, ETL, ML, AI, or Data Science.
• Experience building and leading post-sales technical teams.
• Trusted advisor to technical executives guiding data project delivery decisions.
• Lead architecture discussions, go-lives, and execution plans; promote customer growth.
• Foster morale and collaboration with Field Engineering, Sales, and partners.
• Ability to manage workloads and customer escalations; align with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% around the D.C. Metro area.

• Inspire a customer-obsessed culture by understanding goals and use cases with Databricks tech.
• Build relationships with Sales, pre-sales, and professional services to accelerate customer growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce risk and address blockers.
• Lead activities to monitor customer progress and forecast growth.
• Contribute to process improvements and scalable delivery programs.
• Maintain a robust hiring pipeline.
