Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Pre-Sales Architect focused on government sectors to guide Claude deployments. You will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to design scalable, safe AI architectures and evaluation plans for state and local agencies.

You will translate customer requirements into technical solutions, deliver compelling content, and lead integration efforts across Claude Code, Claude API, and enterprise offerings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
• Experience engaging with federal, state, or local government buyers and complex buying cycles
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders including executives
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Serve as primary technical advisor to enterprise customers through discovery, evaluation, and deployment
• Support customers building with Claude Code, Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise
• Create technical content for engineering teams and business stakeholders
• Guide architecture decisions and integrations within customers’ technology stacks
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance
• Identify common integration patterns and relay insights to product/engineering teams
• Travel frequently to customer sites for workshops and deep dives
• Maintain knowledge of latest LLM developments and implementation patterns
