Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking an Applied AI Architect for Public Sector to serve as a pre-sales technical advisor, helping state and local agencies understand Claude and plan its integration in their technology stacks.

You will work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to guide customers from discovery to deployment, designing scalable architectures, evals, and value-focused talks with executives. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with US federal, state, and local agencies in a technical role.
• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or TAM).
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Act as the primary technical advisor throughout Claude adoption journey.
• Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Create and deliver technical content for engineers and executives.
• Guide architecture decisions and integrate Claude into existing stacks.
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance.
• Travel frequently to customer sites for workshops and deep dives.
• Stay up-to-date with latest LLM developments.
