Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Architect (Public Sector) to act as a pre-sales technical advisor for GovTech customers, guiding them from discovery through deployment of Claude-based LLM solutions. The role blends deep technical architecture with customer-facing skills to design scalable and evaluable AI deployments for government and defense.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager).
• Experience navigating complex buying cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences including C-suite and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Python and with LLM frameworks or ML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers during adoption, evaluation, and deployment of Claude.
• Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Create and deliver technical content for engineering and executive audiences.
• Guide architectural decisions and integrate Claude into existing technology stacks.
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude’s performance for use cases.
• Identify common integration patterns and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Travel frequently to customer sites for workshops and deep-dives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LLM capabilities and implementation patterns.
