Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI team member in the United States as a Pre-Sales Architect focused on helping systems integrators, startups, and GovTech customers understand and deploy Claude within their technology stacks.

You will work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to guide customers from discovery to deployment, develop evals, and design scalable architectures that maximize Claude's value while upholding safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
• US Secret Clearance preferred for defense tech customers
• Experience with government contracting or government tech preferred
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
• Familiar with Python and common LLM frameworks/tools
• Ability to translate customer requirements between technical and business stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences
• Experience navigating complex buying cycles with multiple stakeholders
• Excitement for cross-organizational collaboration and mentoring others

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Serve as the primary technical advisor to enterprise customers throughout their Claude adoption journey
• Coordinate internally across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive customer success
• Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise
• Create and deliver technical content for engineers, developers, and executives
• Guide technical architecture decisions and help customers integrate Claude into their stacks
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance
• Identify common integration patterns and provide feedback to Product/Engineering
• Travel frequently to customer sites for workshops and deep dives
• Maintain knowledge of latest LLM capabilities and implementation patterns
