Job summary
Axon in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Unified Communications Integration Engineer for Public Safety to design, deploy, and maintain our cloud-based 911 UC platform. You’ll ensure interoperability, high availability, and security across multi-tenant services.
You will work closely with Carbyne's Operations and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable UC solutions. Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting the platform, onboarding customers, and producing technical specs while
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience deploying open-source UC platforms.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP deployments, SIP, RTP, and WebRTC.
- 3+ years in deployment of open-source VoIP solutions.
- Experience in networking and OSI model understanding.
- Proficiency with Linux and bash scripting.
- Experience deploying on AWS and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and deploy cloud-based 911 UC platform with high availability.
- Configure and troubleshoot UC services and signaling.
- Provide customized communication solutions for customers.
- Install, maintain, and contribute to UC projects and PBX work.
- Create technical specs and solution documents.
- Onboard new customers per requirements and best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to Operations.
- Understand UC architecture, networking, and cloud computing.
- Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Sales, CTO Office, and Product.
