Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a Sales Specialist to lead complex engagements with emergency dispatch centers, guiding public safety decision-makers toward modern security solutions.

You will develop strategic accounts, forecast pipelines, and demonstrate capabilities such as incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA evaluation, and AI speech analytics. Travel up to 50% is required, with base pay $65,000–$95,000 USD and on-target earnings of $117,000–$171,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• OR 4+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• 1+ years selling technology to public safety agencies or local governments preferred.
• Strong understanding of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Quota attainment: achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota regularly.
• Strategic account penetration: target new logos and lead complex sales efforts.
• Pipeline forecasting: maintain Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions.
• Identify relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct deep needs assessments for analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Live demonstrations of incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA, and AI analytics.
• Contract management: secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
