Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to champion our logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for emergency dispatch centers. You will guide 911 PSAPs and city decision-makers toward resilient public safety operations.

Travel up to 50% within the region; base salary ranges from $65,000 to $95,000 USD per year with on-target earnings of $117,000 to $171,000 USD. Relocation provided; medical/dental/vision benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of sales, customer success, military or public safety experience, or 4+ years in the same fields.
• 1+ year industry experience selling technology to public safety agencies or similar entities.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public records laws.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota consistently.
• Penetrate strategic accounts and lead complex sales engagements.
• Forecast revenue with accurate Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility.
• Design security solutions aligned with client goals to mitigate risk.
• Build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments for analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Present live demonstrations of software capabilities (recording, QA, analytics).
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
