Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to champion logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for public safety agencies. You will guide 911 PSAPs and municipal decision-makers through complex procurement cycles and lead multi-faceted sales engagements within emergency dispatch centers.

This role requires 1+ years in sales/public safety or 4+ years in similar experience, plus knowledge of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and CJIS policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of sales, customer success, military or public safety experience OR 4+ years in sales, customer success, military or public safety experience.
• Experience selling technology to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota consistently and transparently.
• Lead complex sales engagements to penetrate strategic prospect accounts.
• Accurately forecast revenue pipelines with strong Salesforce hygiene.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions to mitigate risk.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and city/county purchasing agents.
• Conduct deep needs assessments regarding analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Deliver live demonstrations of software capabilities (incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA evaluation, AI speech analytics).
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expand system revenue.
