Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to champion logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for emergency response agencies. You will lead complex sales engagements, navigate municipal procurement cycles, and develop relationships with 911 directors and city/county purchasing agents.

Travel up to 50% within the assigned region, with a base salary range of $65,000–$95,000 USD and on-target earnings of $117,000–$171,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• OR 4+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• Industry experience: 1+ years selling technology to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities preferred.
• Technical acumen including P25, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.

Responsibilities

• Quota attainment: achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota.
• Strategic account penetration: target new logos and lead complex sales efforts.
• Pipeline forecasting: maintain Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments for analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Live demonstrations of software capabilities (incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA, AI speech analytics).
• Contract management: secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
