Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to champion our logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for emergency dispatch centers. You will guide 911 PSAPs, dispatch directors, and municipal decision-makers toward a resilient public safety operation while navigating procurement cycles.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in public safety sales or 4+ years in related roles, plus knowledge of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, NG911 standards, and CJIS security. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience OR 4+ years in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience
• Industry experience in selling technology to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities is preferred
• Technical acumen in P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota on a consistent basis
• Penetrate strategic accounts and lead complex sales engagements
• Forecast revenue pipelines with Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions to mitigate risk
• Build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and city purchasing agents
• Conduct needs assessments on analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness
• Deliver live demonstrations of incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA evaluation, and AI speech analytics
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expand system revenue
