Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to champion mission-critical logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for emergency dispatch centers across the United States.

You will guide 911 PSAPs and municipal decision-makers through procurement cycles, lead complex engagements, and collaborate with public safety agencies to build a resilient modern workforce. This role requires up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 1+ years in sales, customer success, military or public safety experience.
• 4+ years in sales, customer success, military or public safety experience accepted.
• Industry experience selling technology to public safety, local government, or municipalities preferred.
• Strong understanding of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota consistently.
• Penetrate strategic accounts through complex sales efforts.
• Forecast revenue pipelines with Salesforce hygiene and visibility.
• Design modern security solutions aligned with client goals.
• Identify and engage 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Perform needs assessments for analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Lead end-to-end responses for government bids, RFPs, RFQs.
• Partner with major radio and telephony vendors to position integrated solutions.
• Deliver live demonstrations of incident reconstruction and analytics.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expand system revenue.
• Execute vertical-alignment strategies across the United States
