Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to lead mission-critical logging and analytics solutions for emergency dispatch centers. You will guide 911 PSAPs, district decision-makers, and municipalities through complex procurement cycles to secure long-term RaaS contracts.

Travel up to 50% within the United States, with a focus on building relationships with 911 directors and IT leaders while achieving quota attainment in public safety markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of public safety sales experience.
• 1+ years of sales, customer success, military, or public safety experience.
• Industry experience selling tech to public safety agencies preferred.
• Knowledge of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, NG911 i3.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed quarterly and yearly sales quotas.
• Penetrate strategic accounts and acquire new logos.
• Forecast revenue with Salesforce accuracy and visibility.
• Design consultative security solutions to mitigate risk.
• Identify and engage 911 directors, IT managers, and procurement officials.
• Lead NG911 readiness discussions and analog-to-digital migrations.
• Own end-to-end responses for RFPs, RFQs, and bids.
• Collaborate with radio and telephony vendors to position integrated solutions.
• Demonstrate software capabilities including incident reconstruction and analytics.
• Negotiate contracts and expand Recording as a Service (RaaS) offerings.
• Operate across the US with national coverage.
