Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to champion logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics for public safety and federal markets. You will guide emergency response agencies and municipal decision-makers through complex procurement cycles, aiming to expand long-term relationships and revenue.

Strong technical acumen in P25, SIP/VoIP, and NG911 is essential. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end bid responses, targeting new logos, forecasting pipelines, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 1+ years in sales, customer success, military or public safety
• OR 4+ years in sales, customer success, military or public safety
• Industry experience selling technology to public safety agencies or local governments
• Strong understanding of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, NG911 i3 standards
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota.
• Lead end-to-end technical bid responses for federal solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs).
• Target new logos and lead complex sales efforts in strategic accounts.
• Guide federal program managers through government procurement cycles.
• Accurately forecast revenue pipelines and maintain Salesforce hygiene.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments for NG911 readiness.
