Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to champion our logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for public safety agencies. You will lead complex engagements with emergency dispatch centers and navigate municipal procurement cycles.

Build relationships with 911 directors and IT managers, deliver live demonstrations, and secure long-term RaaS contracts. Expect travel up to 50% within the assigned region. Strong CJIS/compliance awareness is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1+ year in sales, customer success, military or public safety OR 4+ years in those areas.
• Experience selling technology to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities preferred.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed regional sales quotas consistently.
• Penetrate strategic accounts and develop new logos.
• Forecast revenue pipelines with Salesforce hygiene and visibility.
• Understand client goals and design security solutions to mitigate risk.
• Build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments for analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Present software capabilities through live demonstrations and QA evaluations.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
