Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive complex engagements with public safety agencies, guiding procurement cycles and building strategic partnerships. You will lead accounts, forecast pipelines, and demonstrate software capabilities for incident reconstruction and analytics.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of P25/SIP logging, NG911, and CJIS policies, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree with 1+ years in sales or 4+ years in relevant experience.
• Experience selling tech to public safety agencies or local governments preferred.
• Knowledge of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota consistently.
• Penetrate strategic accounts and lead complex sales engagements.
• Forecast revenue pipelines with Salesforce hygiene and visibility.
• Understand client goals and design security solutions to mitigate risk.
• Identify 911 directors, IT managers, and city/county buyers.
• Lead needs assessments for analog-to-digital migrations and NG911.
• Deliver live demonstrations of incident reconstruction and analytics.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
