Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to lead complex engagements with emergency dispatch centers, guiding 911 directors and city officials toward mission-critical logging and analytics solutions. You will manage prospecting, demonstrations, and long-term RaaS contracts while navigating municipal procurement processes.

Required is a Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in public safety sales, plus knowledge of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, and NG911 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of experience in sales/public safety experience.
• Or 4+ years of experience in sales/public safety experience.
• 1+ years industry experience selling technology to public safety agencies or municipalities.
• Strong understanding of P25, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota.
• Penetrate strategic prospect accounts with new logos.
• Forecast revenue pipelines with Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers and city/county purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments for analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Lead software demonstrations of incident reconstruction and analytics capabilities.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
