Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to champion logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for public safety agencies. You will lead complex engagements, navigate procurement cycles, and build relationships with 911 directors and city purchasers.

The role demands 1+ years in sales or 4+ years in related fields, with strong technical and CJIS compliance knowledge. Expect up to 50% travel and a base plus compelling earn plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• Or 4+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety.
• Experience selling technology to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities preferred.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.
• Ability to lead complex sales engagements and navigate municipal procurement cycles.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota consistently.
• Penetrate strategic accounts and develop long-term partnerships.
• Accurately forecast revenue pipelines with Salesforce hygiene.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions.
• Build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments on analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Deliver live demonstrations of incident reconstruction and analytics.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
