Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Sales Specialist to champion mission-critical logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for emergency dispatch centers. You will guide 911 PSAPs and municipal decision-makers, leading complex engagements and navigating procurement cycles to drive long-term RaaS contracts.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong Salesforce discipline, and a deep understanding of P25, NG911, and CAD integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• OR 4+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• Industry experience: 1+ years selling technology directly to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities preferred.
• Technical acumen: Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Compliance knowledge: Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota.
• Penetrate strategic accounts and lead complex sales engagements.
• Forecast revenue pipelines with accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene.
• Understand client goals and design security solutions to mitigate risk.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments regarding analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Demonstrate software capabilities such as incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA evaluation, and AI speech analytics.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and system expansion revenue.
