Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Chicago seeks a Software Application Specialist Manager to lead a team that manages deployment of the public safety software suite in complex ecosystems. You’ll coordinate with ESI Lab leadership on migration paths and collaborate with the CCSW Contracts team on obligations.

You will drive discovery, analysis and process reengineering, develop training, and ensure customer satisfaction while delivering on contract scope and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in one of the following: Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD- Computer Aided Dispatch, Record Management Systems, and Jail Applications.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Software Application Specialists that handle deployment processes of public safety software within complex ecosystems.
• Collaborate with CCSW Contracts team to understand contractual responsibilities and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead discovery, evaluation and governance activities to optimize operational efficiency for customers.
• Design training curricula and guide customer training to drive end-user adoption.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and ensure requirements are met and documented.
• Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers and project managers to tailor COTS software.
