Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Application Specialist Manager to lead a team responsible for deployment of public safety and command center software within complex ecosystems. The role involves planning resources, ensuring seamless integration, and coordinating with the CCSW Contracts team to meet contractual obligations.

The position requires strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise, with 25–50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to conduct operational assessments, business process reviews, and discovery events; document findings.
• Evaluate existing business processes and provide tailored configuration recommendations for mission-critical software.
• Facilitate business process reengineering, lead workshops to develop new processes aligned with objectives.
• Design, develop, and deliver training curriculum and materials for new software implementations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing processes and document results against Functional Requirements Matrix.
• Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers; align customer needs with solutions.
• Collaborate with program leaders to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Deliver CCSW HW/SW platform migration tasks per contract; ensure on-schedule upgrade delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee CCSW migration projects and maintain contract scope, budget, and customer satisfaction.
