Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Application Specialist Manager to lead a team that deploys the Command Center Software across public safety ecosystems. You will drive deployment, testing, training, and customer collaboration to ensure reliable operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, program management, and coordination with contracts and field teams, with travel and security clearances as part of the job requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in one of the following: Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD- Computer Aided Dispatch, Record Management Systems, and Jail Applications.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Software Application Specialists managing deployment processes of the CCSW within complex public safety ecosystems.
• Coordinate with ESI Lab leadership to test upgrade migration paths and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with CCSW Contracts to understand contractual responsibilities and ensure on-time delivery.
• Conduct operational assessments, business process reviews, and document findings for customers.
• Facilitate UAT and present results to stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers to meet customer needs.
