Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Application Specialist Manager to lead a team that deploys its public safety and command center software within complex software ecosystems for public safety agencies. The role blends leadership, resource planning, and technical expertise to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the software applications.

Responsibilities include coordinating upgrade migrations, collaborating with the CCSW Contracts team, and ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in public safety Information technology field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Software Application Specialists managing deployment processes of Motorola's public safety and command center software suite.
• Collaborate with ESI Lab leadership to test upgrade migration paths and deployment procedures.
• Coordinate with CCSW Contracts team to understand contractual responsibilities and ensure delivery within scope and budget.
• Deliver training materials and lead User Acceptance Testing processes.
• Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers to meet customer needs.
