Job summary

Axon seeks a Business Analyst to bridge customer needs and technology within our public safety SaaS platform. You will collaborate with agencies to capture requirements, design solutions, and configure software to deliver mission-critical outcomes.

In a cross-functional deployment team, you’ll help define user stories, workflows, testing plans, and documentation while navigating complex processes and CJIS security standards. Remote-friendly with travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Business, Operations, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years of relevant SaaS implementation experience
• Experience working with or in Law Enforcement.
• Experience managing process improvement or facilitating change management amongst teams.
• Demonstrated outcome-driven thinking. Can make hard tradeoff assessments.
• Self-starter who thrives with problem-solving and embraces ambiguity.
• Willingness to join forces and drive company-wide initiatives across multiple departments.
• Technical delivery experience and/or coding language knowledge.
• Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customer to configure systems to achieve business outcomes.
• Capture the voice and desired outcomes of the customer to drive business process documentation, including user stories, workflows, and functional requirements.
• Discover complex business requirements, providing structure and clarity, and work with Technical Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Product teams to design and deliver solutions.
• Assess impact and feasibility of proposed solution evaluating alternatives and delivering solutions that accomplish agency outcomes.
• Design, administer, and document functional/user acceptance tests and training.
• Translate complex business requirements into quality technical configurations.
• Apply Axon best practices to all software configurations, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure continuity in environment structure.
