Job summary

Axon is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge customer vision and technology, partnering with public safety agencies to understand operations and configure software for mission-critical work. You’ll join a collaborative deployment team delivering solutions across a leading public safety SaaS platform.

You will work in a role that can be either consultative or technical, with opportunities to interact directly with customers, drive processes, and grow with a team that supports communities

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Business, Operations, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years of relevant SaaS implementation experience.
• Experience working with or in Law Enforcement.
• Experience managing process improvement or facilitating change management amongst teams.
• Demonstrated outcome-driven thinking and tradeoff assessments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customer to configure systems to achieve business outcomes.
• Capture the voice and desired outcomes of the customer to drive business process documentation, including user stories, workflows, and functional requirements.
• Discover complex business requirements, provide structure and clarity, and work with Technical Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Product teams to design and deliver solutions.
• Assess impact and feasibility of proposed solutions evaluating alternatives and delivering solutions that accomplish agency outcomes.
• Design, administer, and document functional/user acceptance tests and training.
• Translate complex business requirements into quality technical configurations.
• Apply Axon best practices to all software configurations, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure continuity in environment structure.
