Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead mission-critical cloud and IT deployments for public safety agencies. You will manage end-to-end projects from kickoff to go-live, coordinating across Axon 911, partners and customers.

You will work with engineering, product and implementation teams, translate customer needs into technical plans, and ensure timely, scalable deployments with strong stakeholder management. Occasional domestic travel supported.

Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certified.
• 5+ years of experience managing global technical projects, preferably within a B2B SaaS, IT, or cloud services company.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional teams through cloud or hybrid infrastructure implementations.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical plans.
• Thrive in a dynamic startup culture and interface with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Open to domestic travel to support project execution (up to 20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms, including system configuration, testing, and go-live support
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions
• Create/manage project and technical implementation plans (e.g., infrastructure readiness, data flows, failover testing)
• Coordinate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to align product capabilities with deployment requirements
• Manage expectations across stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and ensure milestone delivery
• Facilitate system handovers to customer IT teams and lead onboarding/training where required
• Identify post-deployment support needs and optimization opportunities for add-on services
