Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to champion our logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for public safety and municipal agencies. You will guide 911 PSAPs, IT managers, and city purchasing agents through complex procurement cycles, driving adoption of recording and analytics technology.

Travel up to 50% within your region, with base salary $65,000–$95,000 and on-target earnings of $117,000–$171,000, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• OR 4+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• Industry experience selling technology to public safety agencies preferred.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sales engagements within emergency dispatch centers and navigate municipal procurement cycles.
• Target new logos and penetrate strategic prospect accounts.
• Forecast revenue pipelines with accurate Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions to mitigate risk exposure.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and city purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments regarding analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Present software capabilities like incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA evaluation, and AI speech analytics.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expansion revenue.
