Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist for mission-critical logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions in public safety. You will guide 911 PSAPs and municipal decision-makers, leading complex engagements and driving revenue growth across dispatch centers.

You will build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents, perform needs assessments, and demonstrate capabilities like AI speech analytics and QA evaluation. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 1+ years in sales, customer success, military or public safety.
• OR 4+ years of sales/customer success/public safety experience.
• Industry experience selling tech to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities preferred.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sales engagements within emergency dispatch centers.
• Target new logos and penetrate strategic prospect accounts.
• Forecast revenue pipelines and maintain Salesforce hygiene with regional visibility.
• Understand client business goals and design modern security solutions.
• Identify relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and city/county purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments on analog-to-digital migrations and NG911 readiness.
• Present software capabilities such as incident reconstruction, screen recording, QA evaluation, and AI speech analytics.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expand system revenue.
