Motorola Solutions seeks a Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales technical teams responsible for installation, deployment, and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. You will ensure on-site work meets SLAs and delivers exceptional service to public safety customers.

The role demands 5+ years of technical management, deep VoIP/RTI expertise, and strong collaboration with project managers and dispatch directors. 20–50% travel, background checks, and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Preferred: experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, NG911 systems.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team of Field Engineers.
• Schedule and oversee on-site hardware/software installations and upgrades.
• Ensure SLAs, SATs, and security compliance across deployments.
• Act as technical point of contact during critical system go-live events.
• Drive backlog closure and revenue generation through efficient project delivery.
