Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales field teams responsible for installation, deployment, and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. You will manage Field Engineers, ensure SLAs, and coordinate with public safety agencies for reliable, high‑availability systems.

The role requires strong leadership under pressure, deep VoIP/audio knowledge, and a track record in mission-critical environments. Occasional travel and 24/7 support are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Preferred background in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecoms, or NG911 systems.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams both remote and on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning, scheduling, and execution of on-site hardware/software installations and upgrades.
• Lead a dual-function Field Engineers team, with KPIs for response, resolution, and delivery.
• Oversee customer relations, escalations, and coordination with PSAPs and dispatch centers.
• Ensure adherence to installation protocols, SAT, and security compliance standards.
• Act as the technical lead during go-live events and system commissioning.
