New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is seeking a Supervising Computer Service Technician to maintain desktop assets and lead AV system deployments across agency locations. The role involves hands-on IT support, AV configuration, and on-site service, with opportunities to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have strong AV knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and supervisory experience, plus a valid NY driver license.

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent and four years of full-time computer maintenance/repair experience, including at least one year supervising staff.
• Experience supervising a team performing computer maintenance and repair is required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and update an accurate inventory of desktop equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute AV system setup and maintenance.
• Develop and implement best practices for AV configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct regular assessments of AV equipment and identify upgrade opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact for escalated technical issues and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate maintenance with vendors and external service providers and travel as needed.
