Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Onsite Support Technician in New York to deliver on-site customer service at client locations. You will work with the customer, management, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to ensure world-class support and seamless AV integration.

You’ll set up conference spaces, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot AV systems while traveling to various job sites as required. A high school diploma and safety-conscious mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and tool safety.

Responsibilities

• Setup/breakdown of conference spaces for events.
• Perform preventative maintenance on customer spaces.
• Provide field service support for networked devices.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Collaborate with teams to reflect AVI-SPL values.
• Adhere to local safety standards on site.
• Provide end-user training as needed.
• Set up and troubleshoot AV/presentation systems.
